The Rosetree Center’s Sex Offender Treatment Program provides structured, individualized treatment designed to support accountability, insight, healthy relationships, and long term behavioral change.
Progress Rooted in Principle
Participants will attend individual therapy and weekly group treatment, complete assigned therapeutic exercises, and participate in polygraph testing as required in coordination with Probation. With a signed Release of Information, the treatment team will collaborate with Probation and provide regular treatment updates.
Treatment typically requires a minimum of one year, though the timeline varies based on individual progress and treatment needs. Successful completion may include:
Completion of individual treatment goals and assigned coursework
Demonstrated accountability and insight
Positive collaboration with the treatment team and Probation officer
Completion of required polygraph testing, as determined by the treatment team and Probation officer
Demonstrated readiness for successful discharge
Treatment Areas
Throughout treatment, participants may work through structured assignments addressing:
Accountability & Orientation
Personal responsibility, offense patterns, boundaries, consent, and accountability.
Insight & Cognitive Restructuring
Cognitive distortions, emotional awareness, offense cycles, victim impact, empathy, and accountability.
Relapse Prevention & Healthy Sexuality
Relapse prevention planning, healthy sexuality, and developing strategies to support long-term behavioral change.
Maintenance & Community Reintegration
Community reintegration, self-evaluation, continued growth, and preparation for life following treatment.
Specific assignments, treatment frequency, and completion requirements are individualized based on clinical needs and collaboration with the treatment team and Probation.
